Rules for movement

There are some simple rules that we recommend you follow:

• You should use one Camera node for each scene, connected to the hidden Output node - just as you'll find in each new scene you create. Use the Camera node to set the camera's fielding on the entire scene.

• You should use a Transform-type node for each group of characters that need to move together from frame to frame. These should be beneath the Camera node.

For example, you might use this for a walk or run cycle that has been drawn in a fixed position, so that the drawings then move correctly relative to the pegbar.

• You should use an extra Transform-type node if you need to change an image's sizing or registration. These should be at the bottom of the graph, as early as possible after the image appears, and beneath any Transform-type node that is animating the image.

For example, you might use it to fix up a deficiency in a drawing's registration, or to move a drawing that you are re-using.
